Step Into Excellence Recap

It was great seeing you at the “Step into Excellence!” workshop.  We have just begun to build a foundation where you can create a life that brings you the most fulfillment, happiness and satisfaction.

I just wanted to follow up with you and recap some of the things that we covered on Monday.

1.  Do something within the next 36 hours that moves you closer to your goal(s).

2.  Don’t talk about your problem(s) for the entire week.  Talking about your problem(s) keeps you in the problem.

3.  Create your pitch.  This is a story that you are writing about the thing(s) that you would like to accomplish.  Just as an actor rehearses their lines, saying them over and over again, rehearse that story about the wonderful goal(s) that you would like to achieve.  How will your life be different when you achieved your goal(s)?  What will you be doing?  How will you feel when you have achieve your goal(s)?  Who can you ask to help you achieve you goal(s)?

4.  If you get a negative thought you put it “over there” away from you.  Gesture with your hand.  Grab that thought and put it far away from you.  Then think of that goal64 Step Into Excellence Recap that you would like to achieve.  Remember! Focus on the thing(s) that you want.

5. Find a mascot.  The term mascot – defined as a term for any person, animal, or object thought to bring luck.   Find something that resonates with you and reminds you of that thing inside of you that makes you special.  Who know it may help you get a first class airline ticket.

6.  Creating a state of calm.
1. Take a deep breath in through your nose and hold.  Relax your jaw and allow the breath to escape through your mouth. 2. Close your eyes. 3. Think of a time when you felt calm and relaxed.  4. Stay in this state for as long as you would like and when you are ready open you eyes feeling calm and relaxed.  Remember!  When you are calm and relaxed, you are clear and focused and make decisions and take actions that are in your best interest.
